At the end of October, YAKKUM was part of history. Together with Indonesian religious leaders and partners, we declared the Important Role of Religion in Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.
In the “It Starts and Ends with Us” event held at Kota Kasablanka Mall, Jakarta. This event also broke the Guinness World Record as mental health education and suicide prevention with the most participants in the world.
With this moment, may the discussion about mental health and suicide prevention continue in Indonesia and around the world!
The commemoration of World Mental Health Day is an opportunity for all levels of society to come together and begin to improve the neglect of mental health and stigma on psychosocial disabilities.
YAKKUM Rehabilitation Centre (PRY) in collaboration with the Sleman District Health Office and the Indonesian Association of Clinical Psychologists DIY organized the SARAS JIWA FESTIVAL as a momentum to voice the importance of maintaining mental health and inspire various levels of society to care for themselves, others and their surroundings.
