A tagline from the Directorate of Community Health and Humanitarian Development (PKMK) YAKKUM to put the community and the fulfillment of its basic rights, as the core of the empowerment strategy and humanitarian services, which are pursued with 3 things, namely:

1. Strengthening organizational capacity to become an innovative, sustainable, and quality institution.

2. Continuous networking with various parties so that more collaborations are realized to achieve the SDG’s targets in Indonesia.

3. Strengthening / organizing at-risk groups (disabled communities, the elderly, and people with HIV positive) so that they can become strong self-advocates.

The Directorate of Public Health and Humanitarian Development, abbreviated as PKMK, is one of the directorates under YAKKUM (Christian Foundation for Public Health) which has a mandate to serve in public health, humanitarian and advocacy issues. The PKMK Directorate consists of 3 work units consisting of; Community Health Improvement Unit (UPKM) or Community Development Bethesda YAKKUM (CDBY), YAKKUM Rehabilitation Centre (PRY) and YAKKUM Emergency unit (YEU).
